Calculating the Circumference of a Circle

The circumference of a circle is the distance around the outside of the circle. It could be called the perimeter of the circle.

How to find the circumference of a circle:

C = 2 * pi * r

Example: A circular swimming pool has a radius of 14 m. Find the circumference of the pool.

C = 2 * pi * r
P = 2 * 22/7 * 14
P = 88 m

A circle has a circumference of 66 m. Find the radius of the circle using pi=3,142 and round your answer to 2 decimal places.

C = 66 m
C = 2 * pi * r
66 = 2 * 3,142 * r
r = 66 / 6,284 = 10,50 m
